To find out Deviations between CAD data and test component by scanning test component with 3D white light scanner STEINBICHL OR

  1. The scan data of the test part is best possible direct alignment to CAD data by optimizing the deviation from CAD and distributing the deviation aligning the fitment areas like sidewalls and outer surfaces of the both the Cad & Scan data.

  2. The deviation is averaged i.e. CAD part justifies alignment with + ve and -ve deviation.

  3. The Green portion in Figure is Scan data, which is visible wherever it is over the Grey portion of Cad data.
